Courtesy of What Car? UK magazine, we have ten latest electric cars, a closed test circuit, and a sunny day. The goal is to drive the cars until they run out of battery charge.

Hybrids are great, but pure EV is always more efficient and more "green" in terms of direct emissions.

joenodden, 19 Sep 2022Of course all the cars with stupidly bad aerodynamics fall far behind the Teslas. What dumb en... moreIt is not only about the drag because Kia is fairly aerodynamic, but it did compromise rear seats in a big way ... even compared to Hyundai version of this platform.
Tesla, right now, has the best efficiency and above else best packaging, too bad they never deliver on those range estimates. As a big fan of Model 3 LR, I find that disparity quite troubling.

Of course all the cars with stupidly bad aerodynamics fall far behind the Teslas. What dumb engineers do these manufacturers employ that seemingly don't know crap about drag coefficients?

I mean the inferior designs can't be a marketing tactic. (1) They don't look nearly as good as Teslas and (2) even if they did, higher range estimates are a lot more attractive than an attractive design.
