The CEO of Xiaomi has ambitious goals for the EV arm of the company. According to his calculations, the company will need to sell 10 million cars every year to succeed.

almost all people in positions of power like in governments or any company bosses of corporations are corrupt,
that is the nature of man, in any case not the intelligent people get/want to get into positions of power but only the unscrupulous and violent ones who would sell their own parents for money...

Xiaomi is famous for enquiring good startups. That might be their future as they simply "buy" some promising EV newcomer.
But them making EV from scratch and becoming one of the top 5 in the world? That sounds highly improbable.
