Jeep brings refreshed EV lineup to Brussels Auto Show
Jeep made a big splash at the Brussels Auto Show by showing off several new vehicles. The company is moving fast into the world of electric cars and hybrids - at least in Europe. From a small city SUV to a high-speed luxury cruiser, the brand is giving buyers more electric choices than ever.
The Jeep Avenger has been a hit in Europe with over 235,000 sales under its belt. Now, a new version called the Avenger Black Edition is ready for orders. This small SUV looks tough with its all-black logos and 17-inch black wheels. Inside, it has a black center console and a large 10.25-inch digital screen for the driver.

It might look a bit fancy with its all-new black paintwork, but Jeep claims it still handles dirt roads well thanks to its six different driving modes and hill descent control. You can also add a JBL sound system or a "Winter Pack" that keeps the seats and windshield warm. Prices for the standard Avenger start at about $35,139, and this new edition will definitely add a premium to that base.
The Jeep Compass is one of the most popular small SUVs in the world. For 2026, it is getting even better. Jeep is introducing the Compass e-Hybrid Plug-In and the Compass 4xe models. The plug-in hybrid version uses a mix of gas and electricity to produce 225 horsepower. It can travel over 56 miles using only electricity. When the gas tank and battery are both full, it can apparently go as far as 611 miles, according to Jeep.

For drivers who love a bit of a muddy adventure, the Compass 4xe is the top choice. It sits 0.39 inches higher off the ground than the standard model. It also has an electric motor in the back for all-wheel-drive help in sticky situations. The seats are even covered in a special material that is twice as tough as normal fabric and very easy to clean after a messy adventure. In Europe, these hybrid models start from $50,369 and $58,569, respectively.
But the undisputed star of the show was the Wagoneer S. This is Jeep's first global vehicle that runs 100% on electricity. It is incredibly fast, going from 0 to 62 mph in just 3.5 seconds - faster than many sports cars. It has 600 horsepower and uses two electric motors to drive all four wheels.

The interior of the Wagoneer S features over 45 inches of screen estate across the dashboard. There is even a private screen for the front passenger so they can help with directions. When the battery gets low, it can charge from 20% to 80% in only 23 minutes. In the United States, the Wagoneer S starts at about $65,200 - Jeep hasn't revealed the European price yet.
Stellantis had a very busy weekend in Brussels. The company chose to mainly ignore the CES in Las Vegas and focused instead on the European market, bringing many global debuts to Belgium. With the US electric car market slowing down, the company is trying to keep the momentum going in Europe, with all of its brands experiencing increased interest in EVs.
