Looks so ugly... And for what? Well, like 85% of Americans, they will just use it to go get groceries. And show off, like the idiotic Musk cult members they are... And maybe, effectively kill pedestrians, children especially, as that thing is a sharp piece of steal built without any consideration for safety. Included the driver (good luck to get rescued if your are stuck in it after an accident).

Also, didn't JerryRigsEverything tested it in one of his video and end-up with a range 90 miles fully loaded? That's great mileage! Wow. So revolutionary! But again, it's not for useful work, just for idiots happy to show off with it and give their money to the snake oil salesman in chief. Pathetic. I wonder how many Musk dick riders are going to rage on their keyboard after this comment... They are so stupid.

  • non-standard tires

To accommodate the rubber fingers on the plastic hubcaps, are the tire sidewalls custom designed to be specific to a Cybertruck? With torquey acceleration and regeneration, replacing tires every couple years or so just got a little more rich. Those efficiency-improving hubcaps are also a subtle hack to generate extra recurring revenue from not-so-standard tires.

Most people drive mid-size SUV/CUV or cars in the US. Large trucks are popular in certain regions and many use them for work and trailering purposes.

The bulletproof claim is just Elon being Elon. He loves to boast about quirky, unnecessary features. Everything I've read thus far claims it will be plenty corrosion resistant, but time will tell.

"Cybertruck Cyberbeast"? I'd be embarrassed to order something with such a childish name.

As someone with some experience of stainless steel, the biggest problem for the shell will be bird poop. The amount of R&D that has gone into bird proof paint is remarkable, but bare stainless marks extremely easily both with road salt and bird poop, and it is hard to remove.
Add to that that claiming it is bulletproof is very high risk in the US because there will be people out there who will test it.
Isn't the US great, where you need a military vehicle to feel safe on the road?

So the issue with this truck was never the design but the stupid pricing.

Don't lump ME in with those vaccine freaks OR the global warming groups either for that matter... I bought MY Tesla (Model Y-LR) to save money AND get a car (and soon CT as well) that's FUN to drive, has ALL THE POWER I want (more than my Charger R/T Hemi!!) and comfort as well... But, mostly because it's FUN to drive!!

I commute 88 miles per day (44x2) and, although EVs are better on city streets for 'mileage', it costs me less than HALF to drive it...
