Tesla shows off how it tested the Semi in a variety of harsh conditions
At the beginning of this month, the Tesla Semi finally became reality, with FritoLay and Pepsi taking the first deliveries at a specially orchestrated event. Now that the truck is ready for the life on the road, Tesla wants more companies to order one. And in case you were looking at it but had your doubts regarding its toughness, Tesla is out today with a short video showcasing all the testing the Semi was put through in "a variety of harsh conditions". All of this testing was carried out over a few years of development of the now-finally-a-real-product truck, and the whole point was to try and maximize its reliability and durability, according to Tesla.
