The Chinese automaker Changan shows off a new EV concept
Changan is a little-known EV car manufacturer or, at least, and even less popular outside of China. Yet today the company unveiled the CD701 prototype based on the new SDA platform.
The concept looks cool with simple, yet aggressive, thin C-shape headlights along with a dotted strip in the middle. Even the manufacturer's logo is illuminated on the front. The rear takes a hatchback form with taillights in line with the headlights.
Arguably the more interesting bit about the concept is the interior which has a very futuristic vibe and out-of-the-ordinary steering wheel. There's some sort of illuminated mesh along the doors as well aligning with the pattern used for the seats.
Obviously, the CD701 is still far from production and in case it hits the market in the future, it's quite possible that it would look a lot different from the original design.
