Voyah teases Passion S SUV ahead of launch

Voyah, the luxury brand of Dongfeng, recently signed a preliminary deal with the European carmaker Stellantis to produce some of its vehicles in France. Perhaps the high-performance Passion S SUV that's about to debut will make it to Europe someday, but for now, it will go against Xiaomi's new YU7 GT in its home market.

The Passion S SUV, codenamed FE, was reviewed by the company in a camo wrap earlier this month, and now, ahead of the actual announcement, the Chinese car manufacturer took the wraps off.

The Passion S has smooth, but aggressive lines with a big spoiler and two big air deflectors at the back signaling the high-performance nature of the vehicle. It will be offered in two drivetrain configurations - rear-wheel drive and four-wheel drive. The latter has a peak output of 637 hp.

The car is 198.8 inches long, measures 78.7 inches in width and is 65.2 inches in height. The wheelbase measures 118 inches. For context, that's almost the same as the Xiaomi YU7, but this one has noticeably lower clearance.

A Huawei-made LiDAR system sits on the roof of the car used for advanced driver assistance. Huawei says its Qiankun LiDAR system is so powerful that it can detect obstacles as small as 14 cm from 394 ft away.

The actual shipments of the Voyah Passion S are expected to commence sometime in mid-2026.
