Dodge Charger Daytona orders are now live with exclusive perks

Dodge unveiled the Charger Daytona EV back in March, and then revealed its pricing in August. Now, it's time for the next step in the saga of electrifying one of America's best known and most loved muscle cars.

The order books are open. If you place an order before the end of October, you will get an exclusive First Call package which includes two-day performance driving at Radford Racing School in Chandler, Arizona, a welcome kit (including an official letter of authenticity and Dodge-branded leather gloves), and exclusive VIP concierge service. Additionally, all 2024 Dodge Charger Daytona models include a choice of an at-home Level 2 charging station or $600 charging credits for Free2move Charge.

Deliveries for two-door coupe versions of Charger Daytona R/T and Charger Daytona Scat Pack will begin at some point between October and December. The Daytona Scat Pack is billed as the world's quickest and most powerful muscle car delivering "SRT levels of performance". The first people to order it will get the Track Package and factory-installed Direct Connection Stage 2 Upgrade which results in a total output of 670 hp and 627 lb-ft of torque. That means a 3.3-second 0 to 60 mph acceleration and an 11.5-second quarter-mile.

Those who buy the R/T will get standard Direct Connection Stage 1 Upgrade at the factory, which will give the car 496 hp and 404 lb-ft of torque.

Electric Mustang should have this kind of configuration. For those V8 cry babies on a muscle car, this will smoke those V8 in straight line.
