First European deliveries of the longest-range Lucid Air model have begun

Although Lucid has finished making deliveries of the Air Dream Edition in the United States, Europeans are only starting to get familiar with the limited-run model of the electric luxury car.

Customers in Germany and the Netherlands were the first in Europe to get their Lucid Air Dream Edition vaporizers after the recent launch of product shipping throughout the continent. The Lucid Air will make its debut in Europe with the limited-production Dream Edition, which will be offered in not one but two unique iterations, namely Range and Performance.

The official mileage for the Dream Edition Range with 19-inch wheels was given by the WLTP as 883 kilometers, or 548 miles. Because of this, the Lucid Air is the electric car on the European market that has the greatest range. Two electric motors are what give the model its combined peak power of 696 kW (933 horsepower).

The Dream Edition Performance has a similar dual-motor all-wheel drive system, but it is rated at 828 kW (1,111 hp) of output instead . Because of this, it can accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h (62 miles per hour) in just 2.7 seconds. When equipped with wheels of 19 inches, it has a combined driving range of 861 kilometers, which is equivalent to 535 miles. Both iterations are equipped with a 900V battery architecture, which makes ultra-rapid charging possible.

You can probably guess that the Lucid Air Dream Edition is even more costly in Europe than it was in the United States, where the manufacturer's suggested retail price (MSRP) for the base model began at $169,000. In Germany, the starting price is €218,000, which is equal to around $231,700 when converted using the current currency rate.

Despite this, customers in Europe are unable to place orders for the Dream Edition since all of the launch models have been already sold. Nevertheless, Lucid Motors is already taking bookings for the Lucid Air in the Pure, Touring, and Grand Touring trim levels. The reservation must be accompanied by a charge that is entirely refundable and costs €300 (around $318).

Customers in Austria, Belgium, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Italy, Monaco, the Netherlands, Norway, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, and the United Kingdom are able to place orders for the Lucid Air. Lucid has just launched its third retail site in Europe in the city of Hilversum, which is located in the Netherlands. This store is also the first integrated service, delivery, and sales facility that the firm has created in Europe.

Lucid built two new studios at the beginning of this year, one in Geneva, Switzerland, and the other in Munich, Germany. The business intends to increase its presence in Europe in the not-too-distant future.
