First photos of the new Zeekr CX1E emerge

Zeekr’s latest creation - the CX1E electric crossover - has been spotted for the first time. As it undergoes road tests, the vehicle promises to shake up the electric car market, adding a touch of mystery with its Hidden Energy design language and the innovative Zeekr Stargate light band in the front end.

The Zeekr CX1E is set to join the prestigious lineup, following the footsteps of its predecessors - 001, 009, X, 007, and the M-Vision MPV. Sharing a platform and technology with the recently launched Zeekr 007 sedan, this new addition seems to be borrowing heavily from design clues of Zeekr’s new sedan.

The CX1E embraces the Hidden Energy aesthetic, characterized by a smooth bonnet line and frameless side-view mirrors - a signature move borrowed from the Zeekr 007. The side profile boasts slanted D-pillars, a sloped roofline, and retractable door handles.

The interior of the CX1E mirrors the 007 sedan's layout, featuring a familiar main screen and instrument panel. However, the CX1E adds its own flair with a new three-spoke steering wheel, complete with flattened upper and lower sides. The rest of the interior remains covered up.

While the exact dimensions of the Zeekr CX1E remain unknown, spy shots suggest a size larger than the Zeekr X crossover, possibly reaching a body length of 185 inches. Chinese designer Sugar Design has provided a sneak peek into the CX1E's potential appearance through unofficial render images. If his vision holds true, the CX1E resembles an SUV version of the 007 sedan, complete with a LiDAR sensor on the roof and a single taillight strip in the back.
