Lancia's new Ypsilon has more range
Lancia is refreshing its Ypsilon EV, the brand has just revealed. The new model is already available from today with no alterations to its price.
It does however come with a 54 kWh battery and a 115 kW / 156 hp electric motor that will let you go up to 264 miles, which is around 6% or 14 miles more than with the previous model.

The range improvement comes from using an NMC battery with enhanced chemistry and a more efficient powertrain. Average consumption is now stated to be 14.3 kWh per 62 miles.
Charging to 80% takes less than 30 minutes if you're using a 100 kW DC charger. The brand says that with these changes it has "emboldened the New Ypsilon's role as the benchmark in the premium hatchback B-segment, bolstering a model which unites elegance to sustainability".
