Li Li L9 interior teased, to debut during this year's Beijing Auto Show

Ro, 12 March 2022

Not much is known about the Li Li L9, also known as "ideal L9", a premium alternative to the mid-ranger ideal ONE SUV from the company. Li Auto said that the luxury SUV would be finally detailed during this year's Beijing Auto Show, April 21-30. And as for now, the two official images should do.

However, Li Auto also hinted that the vehicle will range between CNY 450,000 and CNY 500,000 ($71,000-79,000).

The first image shows a minimalist design with two massive, 15.7-inch OLED screens for infotainment and entertainment while the driver gets just a simple HUD, no instrument cluster.

The other image focuses on the second row of seats, where we see two separate ones and another 15.7-inch OLED panel hanging from the roof. Speaking of, it's separated into two big sunroofs.

The Li Li L9 uses six microphones and 3D ToF sensors operated by an AI to ensure intuitive and adaptive gesture control in the cabin. The whole infotainment system is powered by two Qualcomm SA8155P chips for the automotive industry. It's paired with 24GB of RAM and 256GB of high-speed internal storage. Notably, the system supports 5G connectivity with two providers at once. Quite an impressive hardware for a car.

Going by previous unconfirmed reports, the vehicle will be an EV with range-extender. The pure electric cruising range is rated at 155 km, while the 1.5-liter, four-cylinder motor boosts that range to 800 km. The fuel tank stores 65l of gasoline while the electric motor runs on a 44.5 kWh battery, supporting 20-80% charging in 36 minutes.

The ideal L9 is said to be quite big too - 5.2 meters in total length and a wheelbase width of 3.1 meters.

Maybe it'll inflate from the space between the display and the air vent? Still, the concept is just too... Unique I'd say
