Lotus Emeya electric sedan goes on sale in China starting from $94,000
The Lotus Emeya has officially made its debut in China. With a starting price of $93,750, this electric powerhouse is not cheap, but it certainly has a lot to offer.
The second EV from Lotus, after the Eletre SUV, Emeya comes in four trim levels, including a top-of-the-range Emeya R+ with 675 kW of power, 726 lb-ft of torque, and 0 to 62 mph acceleration in just 2.78 seconds.
With a 102 kWh battery pack, Emeya and Emeya S+ offer a range of up to 404 miles on a single charge. The same battery pack inside the more powerful R and R+ versions offers a range of 323 miles and 298 miles respectively.
The sedan features an active front spoiler and rear spoiler, which enhance both performance and efficiency.
Inside the Emeya, you'll five seats and a 15.1-inch infotainment screen. Those who prefer a more exclusive experience can also opt for a four-seat layout.
The Emeya boasts an impressive array of 34 driving assist sensors, including LiDAR technology, which aids in smart highway driving and automatic parking. Two Nvidia Orin X chips do the number crunching.
The Lotus Emeya's four trims cost between RMB 668,000 and RMB 1,180,000 in China, which translates to $93,750 to $165,600. And for those who crave additional customization, there's a range of optional extras, from high-performance brake calipers to a stunning carbon package.
