Sono fails to raise enough funds to secure production of the solar EV Sion

The solar EV start-up Sono is facing a painful decision of pulling the plug out on its first car - the Sion. The company came tantalizingly close to having enough funds to begin production but fell short and it's trying to raise additional support from customers.
