My Taycan 4S performance charged yesterday at 192kwh.
The range is close to 400km and the consumption between 16kw to 25kw/100km.

The only EV solution is 800V system and fast charge.

I am really happy with this crazy vehicle.

Absolute LOL at the range losses. Goes to show how unusable this EV garbage is in real life.

Sadly their EVs lost 50% value in just 1-2 years, they lost a lot of money. Same situation is in Europe, second hand EVs are not selling well, nobody wants EVs.

Keep in mind the test was done on rural roads with 50km/h. If you drive on highway you won't even get 30% of advertised range. 150km driving 1.5h and then 1.5h charging :)

Turn on the heater and you'll notice and it consumes A LOT of fuel.

Also, "infinite range", what does it mean? "Drive till you fall asleep or lose consciousness due to exhaustion, crash and die" kind of range?

Thanks, I'll pass.

None of them can really go beyond 240 miles. No surprise that my friend sold his EV and went back to ICE. Batteries really aren't the future.

Not as ... moreIt's quite a small difference at like -30c (which is normal here, and sadly regular during winters), but an EV loses a massive chunk of its range in that temperature. ICE can go for basically the same mileage on a full tank of gas, be it 30c or -30c. Battery technology has a long way to go, until they're really equipped to deal with our winters here.

My Model Y never got more than 100 miles on a full charge in Chicago winters. Regretted giving up my Lexus Hybrid (RX).

Alredy, there is 43% thermal eff. petrol cars. F1 already has 60+ and there is the tech, many F1 tech rolled down into normal cars million times.
All this will be very light package with cheap small tires, and cheap everything to maintain. Win win

it doesn't take a genius to figure it out, guys. These are Chinese cars tested in China. I wonder which test cycle they are using? Hm... oh, it must be the American EPA cycle, where 90% of these cars aren't even sold! Of course!

That said, the real surprising thing is the car with the LFP pack coming out on top. People keep saying LFP is more susceptible to cold than NCA batteries, but this seems to disprove that notion.
