Nio and Shell's first battery swap station in Europe is now operational

Nio already has battery swap stations across Europe, but this is the first one in collaboration with Shell.

Why wouldn't you want the option of battery swapping. You can still purchase the battery if you want to but why? With other EV ls it will be a major expenditure to replace a worn out battery, a battery with inferior technology or a damaged battery. Also, how do you get enough charging station in high density population centers like large apartments.
And regardless of the claims quick charging takes 30 minutes or longer, gives you a very limited number of miles and causes your battery to degrade faster if done often.
Battery swapping is the ONLY way EVs will be feasible on the scale the politicians envision
