Class 8 fully autonomous electric truck with 800 km range unveiled in the US

A California based startup company just unveiled what can be the first fully autonomous heavy truck capable of covering 800 km on a single charge and without a driver present.

I mean, what they expect, it's a shit job no matter how you look at it. This industry just begs for an automated solution. And instead of threatening truck drivers with losing their jobs, they should retrain them to do all kinds of maintenance and logistics jobs. We all know it will take decades before absolutely everything will be automated, so human input will still be crucial for a long time.

Now, convincing every party, to do this is of course a different kind of problem.
