It's truly great to see the advancements being made. We will all benefit from healthy competition. But one thing that continues to haunt most Chinese manufacturers is they don't seem to be able to distinguish their products' designs well enough to make them their own. This is yet another example of a far-too-obvious design ripoff. The perennial explanation of why they keep doing it this (flattery) not only no longer holds water, it is seen as lazy and points to a lack of design talent.

Regarding the erudite comments about Tesla, there is no EV manufacture that can match their user interaction environment, nor their real-world customer service. Still. After almost exactly 14 years ago. You'd think we would have seen more progress, but even with a dip in sales, Tesla is still hitting numbers that have long-solidified it as legitimate, long-term player. And looking at the S9, it's about as clear as it can be they are still seriously influential.

Kudos to all the advancements, but don't count Tesla out.

teslas will stop for anyone/anything on the road --- easy for carjacking.

there's a car company in the usa called waymo. it allows itself to lit on fire durings riots.
not great for the passengers inside.
