Huawei-backed AITO has officially launched its second car, a luxury SUV with a few tricks up its sleeves and range extender to give it a 1,220km range.

With this Aito model range; Huawei as a technology brand is entering a new frontier. Huawei got to consolidate this diversification; an electric pickup truck model, and van model got to be made as well.

Many, many places all over the world have no infrastructure and it will take years before it is developed. Range extender EVs are a step up from hybrid cars, they are more efficient and they provide a usable electric range. In an ideal world we all would move away from combustion engines but since this isn't an ideal world, we may have to look at the next best solution.
