One objection; we know there is a shortage of driver assistance hardware, which is why it's being restricted to the top tier model. But as I don't need that much range or leather seats, but I do very much want driver assistance (as on both our present cars), it's a deal breaker.
Really I do not think any new car sold nowadays should lack things like lane detect and blind spot detection.
I wouldn't mind paying £3000 for it as an upgrade - but batteries and leather seats (which I detest) are not safety features.
