Quarter of new car buyers would go for an Apple car, study finds

The Apple car does not exist yet and there is no news of when it may become the real thing and yet it attracts a huge number of buyers who would part with their money without batting an eyelid, just to get their hands on a most talked about hypothetical car.

If you feel their software resembles quality or stability ... I guess good for you, I personally have higher standards, especially when it comes to things that should be reliable.

Tesla's Autopilot does not work on roads around here, Tesla's Autopilot does not physically press the button on a steering wheel ... so I am not so sure what was your point particular one.

Apple produces pretty much the most stable software in the industry, and the workmanship that goes into its products is usually among the best available. And design is important to most of us -- I guess you chose your mate based on functionality instead of design too... ;)

And Tesla's Autopilot uses blinkers with far greater regularity than human drivers, so I have no idea what you are talking about.

Of course it's Apple. It's US after all. Do the same with the rest of the world and see how "big" that percentage will be. In US they would buy toilet paper with Apple logo if they would sell it lol

This is really sad, it shows a lot of people look for a design instead of functionality, BUT it is a theoretical study and praxis will, most likely, show otherwise.
But Hyundai is already on a roll, so their rebranded vehicle could actually be fairly excellent, at least when it comes to hardware. When it comes to software, I seriously dread what will Apple come up with.
They might get "creative", but they hopefully will be stopped by laws and won't implement something downright dangerous ... but what do I know, Teslas with Yokes are on the road and that already is a downright liability for a driver, especially one used to use blinkers ...

BTW, that picture is not even a concept, there is literally nothing finished design wise. You do not have to worry it will look this horrid ... at least you do not have to worry, yet.

All this is an indication of how strong the Apple brand is and how much trust people place in its ability to deliver great design and great products.

Well apple paid marketing cannot be trusted no matter what.

The problem with these studies is that they are made on people who can afford or barely afford flagship iphone BUT they have no financial capacity to place an order on an ACTUAL car even worse (probably very expensive )apple car.
So wishes shouldnt count but obviously they do.
