Google is removing GameSnacks from Android Auto
People running on the beta version of Android Auto are reporting that the GameSnacks collection of games is no longer available in the last few versions of the software. Seemingly, GameSnacks is absent from the app launcher, but it's still visible in the launcher settings.
A number of users are going to Google's support forums and discussing the absence of GameSnacks, suggesting that the company is now starting to remove the games from stable releases as well.
GameSnacks was first introduced in 2021, and it's a collection of HTML5-based games that Google tailored for car displays. However, in recent months, many are reporting issues with GameSnacks sometimes being unable to launch even when the vehicle is stationary. Everything is pointing to Google axing the GameSnacks games.
