Many of us know LG as a phone (sadly no more) or TV manufacturer, some of us have a computer monitor or a laptop from LG, or a fridge or vacuum cleaner. LG truly is a massive company catering to a bunch of industries. EV cars are among those and the company has now revealed it's behind one of the most impressive pieces of tech to ever grace the new gen cars.

The 56” single piece of glass high definition screen that just takes your breath away. Sitting in the EQS is the closest we can get to the future right now. Never mind the car which has this futuristic and calming ambience - it’s the screen that takes the center stage - literally.

LG is heavily involved in the automotive industry, it is responsible not only for displays but for telematics and driver assistance systems and of course it is manufacturing battery cells for electric cars.

LG makes advanced headlights and rear lights as well, next time when you see a car with LED headlights there’s a very high chance they were made by LG. There is a part of LG group that even develops complete electric drivetrains for EVs, including motors, inverters and chargers.

LG took less than a decade to become an automotive industry solutions provider. Known around the world for domestic appliances it just applied the knowledge to a completely new market and instantly became a supplier of choice for many automotive brands - Jaguar, Cadillac and Renault apart from Mercedes-Benz are all using components designed by LG.
