Opel unveils redesigned Mokka Electric, adjusts pricing
Opel announced a new Mokka Electric model year 2025 with a slight change in the design and more streamlined configurations. The new Mokka now comes in only one variant - with 115 kW output and 54 kWh battery.
Previously, the Opel Mokka Electric was offered in two configurations: a 50 kWh battery with a 136 hp (100 kW) motor and a 54 kWh battery with a 156 hp (115 kW) motor. Now, only the latter remains.
Opel has also revised its pricing, and the new Mokka is cheaper than the older one with the same drivetrain. It's now asking €36,740, which is €7,980 discount. However, it still costs €4,060 more than the older base model.
Due to Stellantis' recent strategy shift, the Opel Mokka's trim options have also been reduced. While Elegance and GS offered the smaller motor and the Ultimate package boasted the 115 kW drivetrain, the Mokka is now available only in Edition and GS trims. There are no technical changes to the drivetrain.
In addition to the barely noticeable design changes, there are a few more sensible interior updates. The steering wheel is now different with a flat bottom, the seats feature new fabric with recycled materials, the central console and its display are revamped. You can get a 10-inch driver display and a large central screen running the latest version of the infotainment software.
