The Exynos Auto UA200 is manufactured by Samsung LSI, the conglomerate's semiconductor division. It offers Ultra-Wideband connectivity, precision distance measurement, and advanced security features. The chip has centimeter-level accuracy, so it can locate your car key fob with great precision.

The chip is also tasked with a radar function, can monitor the driver's respiratory rate, and supports Child Presence Detection (CPD). The latter has become a mandatory feature in Europe starting in 2025.

The silicon handles all the information securely using Scrambled Timestamp Sequence (STS) that encrypts the signal's time data. It also supports up to six channels instead of just two that the lower-tier Exynos Auto UA100 has.

When it comes to specs, the UA200 has 3x Cortex-M33 microcontrollers, a baseband block, radio frequency block, NVM storage and a Power Management Unit, along with 2MB eFlash storage. The new hardware has already been given to clients, so we will likely see it implemented in future cars sooner rather than later.
