Tesla Cybertruck flaunts new rear light bar
If there's one thing you can count on with Tesla, it's its commitment to keep you guessing. Just when you think you have a handle on the upcoming Cybertruck, Tesla flips the switch and adds a dash of sparkle to its back end. Thatโs right - the infamous Tesla Cybertruck has been spotted in the wild yet again, but this time with a new addition - a rear light bar, no less.
It has been a good three and a half years since the Cybertruck made its first daring appearance, the metal beast stealing our breath away with its radical design and ambitious promise. Although it hasn't officially hit the markets yet, sightings of the Cybertruck are no longer as rare as a lunar eclipse. Each time it emerges, its design seems to bear subtle tweaks and adjustments, suggesting Tesla's incessant quest for perfection.

A TikTok user, recently, spotted the Cybertruck in Fremont. This time around, it wasn't the usual silhouette that caught the eye, but an unmistakable light bar strutting across the truck's rear tailgate. Until now, all the Cybertrucks spotted in the wild were missing this detail.
The absence of this feature in earlier prototypes led to quite the Twitter storm, drawing enough attention to prompt a response from Elon Musk himself. In a classic Muskian style, he tweeted, "Production will have red light bar." And just like that - he promised, he delivered.
Tesla's move to take the Cybertruck for more public spins, coupled with snippets of factory footage flaunting vehicle cast production, hints at a potential launch looming on the horizon.
There is a caveat though. Tesla made it clear that the $39,990 base price flaunted at the Cybertruck's grand unveiling might not stick. The company aims to keep its pricing competitive with the likes of the Ford F-150 Lightning and the Chevrolet Silverado EV, which might place the Cybertruck in the $50,000 to $60,000 range. Not exactly spare change, but hey, we are talking about a Tesla here.
As for production, the whispers suggest it's commencing soon, however, mass production is not expected to gain momentum until 2024. Despite these timelines, Tesla remains adamant about getting the Cybertruck into the hands of customers by the end of this year.
Previously spotted CybertruckThe unfolding story of the Tesla Cybertruck is a fascinating journey that continues to captivate not just Tesla fans and EV enthusiasts, but the broader public as well. With each new design twist and turn, we're reminded of Tesla's dedication to redefining the boundaries of what's possible in automotive design.
