Tesla Cybertruck in Camo makes another appearance

The internet went wild last week when the first-ever Tesla Cybertruck wrapped in white-and-black camouflage was spotted roaming the streets. Spotting a Cybertruck on its own is a good excuse for celebrations, but seeing one that’s so unique - gets everyone’s attention.

The camouflaged Cybertruck was spotted again in Palo Alto, doing rounds and going about its rather mundane daily business. So why the camo? There’s only one possible answer - to attract more attention. This camouflage is not designed to hide any details of the Cybertruck, it is simply there to make sure everyone spots the car passing by, and everyone gets their phones out and starts filming.

Judging by the number of videos circulating social media - the camo works. Tesla Cybertruck is finally nearing its production, the production line is nearly ready with new machines arriving pretty much every day. Tesla shipped one of the Cybertrucks to New Zealand for the final round of winter testing at the SHPG.

The Cybertruck deliveries are scheduled for the third quarter, and with July just around the corner, Tesla hasn’t got much time left. Is the Cybertruck ready? Well - yes, it is. The clue is in the final post on Twitter, where Cybertruck was spotted leaving the In-N-Out Burger drive-thru, Elon Musk himself commented on the post saying “It’s a tradition.” That’s right - when a Tesla vehicle is ready, with all the final changes applied, the first production-ready unit goes for burgers.

The wait is nearly over, and the unquestionably most controversial electric vehicle is finally heading for production. Despite many rumors about further delays, it seems deliveries will begin within a month or two, and there’s only one question remaining - will Tesla keep its promise about the Cybertruck pricing? A quick look at Tesla’s website reveals the Cybertruck pricing info is gone - last week the electric truck was still showing starting price of $39,900 for the RWD version, while the AWD dual-motor model was priced at $49,000. Together with the prices, all specifications have been removed as well - that means changes are coming.
