Tesla Model S 2021 -

Specifications

Interesting that the Plaid got a $20k price drop. That is equivalent to a Yamaha R1, a super fast motorcycle (but probably not as quick in a straight line as this insane car). I feel bad for the people that bought this before the price cut.

One of my favourite! The best electric 🚗 of Tesla.
Speedy, secure and Simple.

Anonymous, 14 Feb 2022how is the real world range experience? built quality?Built quality has improved a lot since the 1st MS - I still drive my 2015 MS and got a few loaners from Tesla. They have improve the build quality, but still very much bellow par with German equivalent. I can't wait to test the new model S - not available in Europe yet.

I would agree about the network of supercharger which are very good and reliable. Having said that and after 200k km I use only 30% of SC. I did took cards and subscription for other charging network but while the setup is painful when it works it is all fine too.

Nothing beats my free supercharger to life thought. One of the cheapest car I ever owned.

EJMaster, 09 Mar 2022You're completely right. Why to get a Tesla, when you got Rivian & Fisker. I hope to ... moreIt's the charging network.

At Tesla charging station you just stop and plug in. Charging starts without any hassle.

With Ford, Rivian, BMW, all the rest charging is much more complex: Getting the right app, starting the change, getting it to accept a credit card... It can be a nightmare.

Not to mention that Tesla's built in navigation knows where every supercharger is and if there are any non-working stalls, and how many stalls are in use, and what amenities (food, bathrooms, lodging...) are available at each location. These are all displayed in the navigation. The navigation also suggests when to charge with directions to the appropriate supercharger.

SO, It's the charging network.

You're completely right. Why to get a Tesla, when you got Rivian & Fisker. I hope to see the Fisker Ocean from MWC2022 in this site.
