Turkish EV manufacturer Togg expands into Europe with T10F fastback

Turkish electric vehicle manufacturer Togg annouced its second car as it looks to enter the European EV market. The company aims for a late 2024 debut in Germany and has just anounced the T10F fastback that will join its debut model, the T10X SUV, there.

The T10F fastback was unveiled as a near-production model at the CES 2024 technology show. Like its SUV counterpart, it falls into the compact-sized category, sharing the C-segment platform. It comes in two rear-wheel drive options and one all-wheel drive version.

The T10F promises an impressive range, with the rear-wheel drive models offering either 217 miles or 373 miles, while the all-wheel drive version boasts 329 miles of range, per the in-house preliminary WLTP estimates.

The all-wheel drive variant comes with dual electric motors, delivering 320 kW (approximately 430 horsepower) and propelling the T10F from 0 to 62 mph in just 4.6 seconds. The rear-wheel-drive models are equipped with a single electric motor providing 160 kW (215 hp).

All variants can charge from 20 to 80% in just 28 minutes. Additionally, each T10F model can serve as an external power supply.

Customers can choose between V1 and V2 equipment levels, with V2 offering more advanced autonomous features and safety systems. The design of the T10F, as well as the T10X, is the result of a collaboration between Togg's design studio and the renowned Italian styling specialist Pininfarina. While both models share a similar silhouette and body lines, the T10F boasts sportier proportions.

While prices for the T10F have not been officially released, they are not expected to be far from the T10X SUV, which starts at $48,300 for the base model and rises to $61,510 for the long-range variant.

The company is taking a bold step into the European market, with plans to introduce its vehicles in countries like France, Italy, the Netherlands, and Sweden. Togg's ambitious goal is to have one million EVs on European roads by 2032.
