Voyah Courage is a new globally-oriented SUV coming next year
During this year's Turin Auto Show in Italy, the luxury sub-brand of Dongfeng Motors, Voyah, announced its upcoming mid-sized EV SUV called Courage. Unfortunately, aside from a couple of press shots and basic specs, Voyah didn't go into much detail.
We don't know the drivetrain or the battery inside, but Voyah did mention that the vehicle can charge at a maximum DC power of 200 kW. Courage is also equipped with an advanced Continuous Damping Control suspension system, which is a fancy way of saying it's an adaptive suspension system. Of course, the SUV is built on the company's own EV platform.
On the front, the car has an "interactive" radiator grille and is illuminated, while the headlights feature a new generation OLED tech. The chassis features excellent aerodynamics since Voyah used Dongfeng's years-long expertise in the field.
Inside, the Courage has a central OLED infotainment screen with support for Apple's CarPlay and Google's Android Auto. 128-color ambient lighting system inside the cabin makes up for a nicer atmosphere. Options also include seats made of recycled materials in compliance with the EU OEKO-TEX Standard 100 and offer massaging and AC functions.
Voyah Courage can also be purchased with a Level 2 assisted driving system and has already passed EuroNCAP's safety tests with five stars.
The car is expected to hit the global market, including Europe, sometime next year and the starting price will likely be above $55,000.
