Honda is "diligently progressing with (the) development" of the Prelude so it should eventually arrive as a full-fledged electric sports coupe.

For those that aren't familiar with the Honda Prelude (really?) - it first launched on the Japanese market in 1979. It's since had five generations - all front-wheel-driven two-door coupes. The Prelude's claim to fame was four-wheel-steering, making the car much more responsive and stable when cornering. While the Nissan R31 Skyline was the first car with four-wheel-steering in 1985, it was only on sale in Japan, while the third generation Honda Prelude was the first mass-market car to premiere four-wheel-steering in 1987.
