Kia puts the EV4 through its paces at Nurburgring
Kia's upcoming EV4 will be making its debut soon, and it's already attracting a lot of attention. The electric hatchback was recently spotted tearing up the Nurburgring racetrack, proving that it's more than just a good-looking city car.
The EV4 is Kia's latest entry-level EV, and it's expected to be priced between $39,000 and $52,000, depending on the chosen trim and options. It's designed to be a more affordable option than the company's other EVs, such as the EV6.
It is very likely the EV4 will share its powertrain with the EV3 rather than with the larger EV6. That means a single electric motor powering front wheels with a 150 kW output. Since the EV4 is more aerodynamically friendly, it should have a better range - we expect to see a 350 miles or higher WLTP rating.
The EV4 is expected to be available in late 2024 or early 2025. It will be sold in North America, Europe, and Asia.
