New Genesis Electrified GV70 luxurious interior revealed
The Genesis Electrified GV70, the best-selling Genesis model in North America, is getting a significant update for the 2026 model year. The luxury electric SUV comes with a fresher look, new features, and a refined interior.
One of the easier-to-spot changes is the redesigned front end, featuring a new G-Matrix Grille and the charging port conveniently located within the grille. The Electrified GV70 now comes exclusively with an NACS port, providing access to Tesla's Supercharger Network. The SUV also has the signature Genesis two-line headlamps, upgraded with microlens array (MLA) technology for better visibility in low-light conditions.
The interior of the 2026 Electrified GV70 is where the upgrades truly shine. A massive 27-inch OLED display dominates the dashboard, serving as both the driver information cluster and the infotainment system. The EV version distinguishes itself from its gas-powered counterpart with added ambient lighting and a marble-like design on the door panels. Rear passengers also benefit from ambient lighting and what appears to be a touchscreen for climate control.
The luxurious feel is improved by details like suede seats with white stitching and white seat belts. The overall impression is one of refinement, maintaining the clean and elegant aesthetic that Genesis is known for. The 2026 version also features improved voice recognition, allowing drivers to control various functions like windows and HVAC settings with ease.
The refreshed SUV is getting a larger 84 kWh battery, up from 77.4 kWh in the previous model. While official range figures have not been released, this upgrade should provide a modest increase in driving range.
