Skoda details the Epiq's power, batteries, range, and performance
Skoda previewed the Epiq all the way back in 2024, then introduced it in September of last year, and today the brand is finally giving us more details about it, along with a bunch of photos showing it in camo. The Epiq is going to be fully unveiled before the end of June. It uses the VW Group's MEB+ platform, being the first Skoda to do so. Unsurprisingly, it's front-wheel drive, with three motor options.
The entry-level Epiq 35 provides 85kW (114 hp) with 11-second 0 to 62 mph acceleration, the mid-level Epiq 40 option goes up to 99kW (133 hp) for 9.8-second 0 to 62 mph, while the range-topping Epiq 55 will deliver 155kW (208 hp) and a 0 to 62 mph time of 7.4 seconds. Maximum speed is capped at 93 mph for the Epiq 35 and Epiq 40, and 99 mph for the Epiq 55.
There will be two battery options offered, 37kWh net LFP for the Epiq 35 and 40, with a range of 196 miles, and 51.7kWh net NMC for the Epiq 55, which will have a range of 267 miles. DC charging will max out at 50kW on the Epiq 35, 90kW on the Epiq 40, and 133kW on the Epiq 55, which can go from 10% to 80% in 23 minutes. All three versions will support 11kW AC charging too. Here's a handy table to help you go through the main specs.

As you can see in the table above, the Epiq will have a boot/trunk capacity of 16.8 ft³, which goes up to 47.5 ft³ with the rear seats folded down. The car will be billed as a "city SUV", as it's the smallest Skoda EV so far, and also the cheapest. Speaking of pricing, it should match that of the ICE Kamiq "in many markets", according to the official press release.
The Epiq has a drag coefficient of 0.275. It's going to be offered with 17" to 19" wheels. It will be the first model from the brand to come with LED lights as standard, and also the first one to have a new T-shaped LED headlight signature. This will then expand to other models in Skoda's range. Inside, there's a 5.3-inch instrument cluster in front of the driver, and a 13-inch central infotainment screen.
