The refreshed Xiaomi SU7 sedan gets 100,000 orders in two weeks
Earlier this month, Xiaomi unveiled a slightly refreshed version of its first ever EV, the SU7 sedan. It comes with more power, improved safety features, and longer range, but you are paying a marginally higher price for it.
People in China definitely don't seem to mind the price hike, though, as it's been reported today that Xiaomi has already received over 100,000 orders for the car since its launch on January 7.
So the number has been achieved in a little over two weeks, which makes it even more impressive. That said, do note that these orders are fully refundable, so it's not as hard a number as it might seem at first. But clearly, there's a lot of interest in China in the revamped SU7. We'll get the actual sales numbers later on, so stay tuned for that.
