Xpeng will open four delivery and service centers in Europe by June
Xpeng's four European markets are each getting a brand new delivery and service center by June. It all starts in Norway - as EV-related things generally do in continental Europe. The Norwegian delivery and service center in Lørenskog will open in February.
Also in February, the delivery and service center in Badhoevedorp, XPeng's first one in the Netherlands, will be completed. It will open for business at some point between April and June. The Netherlands also gets a spare parts hub in Schiphol, which helps reduce the waiting time for European customers needing repairs and replacements.
Next up, Sweden. The delivery and service center in Stäket, Järfälla will be completed by April and is expected to open by the end of June. Finally, the first Xpeng delivery and service center in Denmark will open in Hillerod in May.
Xpeng says any issues with its vehicles will be diagnosed remotely and, if possible, solved via over-the-air software updates, in order to help reduce the overall service waiting lists - because apparently there are service waiting lists now.
The company also promises to open "a number of" authorized service locations "with the support of dedicated partners from each country", where you'll be provided with the same "high standards of service and care" that you get from Xpeng's service centers directly.
These additional locations will open "across Europe by the end of 2023", according to the Chinese company's press release. In Denmark, remote servicing will be provided through mobile car service platform OmniCar.
