Audi has once again pushed the boundaries of electric vehicle performance with the revamped 2024 e-tron GT. This is a declaration that Audi really takes the high-performance EV market seriously. It comes in three versions - the S, RS, and the insane RS Performance - and each of them promises thrilling rides.

The RS Performance boasts an astonishing 912 horsepower (with boost engaged). It catapults from 0 to 62 mph in a mere 2.5 seconds and its top speed is electronically limited to 155 mph. In comparison the base S model delivers the still mighty 669 horsepower and a 0 to 62 mph time of 3.4 seconds.

But it's not all about raw power. Audi has significantly enhanced the e-tron GT's range, now estimated at up to 373 miles. This is due in part to a new 97 kWh battery pack. The charging has also seen a major upgrade, now supporting up to 320 kW DC rates, which can replenish the battery from 10% to 80% in about 18 minutes.

Underneath the sleek exterior, Audi has introduced a new air suspension system that promises a comfortable ride in comfort mode and perfect handling in sports mode. For those seeking the ultimate driving experience, the optional Active Ride system takes things further, actively controlling roll and pitch for even greater agility.

Compared to the current e-tron GT, the new version has received some subtle visual tweaks. The S model boasts a distinct front bumper design, while the RS models feature larger intakes, a sportier grille, and a new rear diffuser. The flagship RS Performance model takes it a step further with "chopped carbon" elements.

Inside, the e-tron GT brings a new steering wheel, that will come to all future Audi RS models. The Performance models add a bunch of carbon fiber elements as well.

European pricing for the 2024 e-tron GT will start at $135,200 for the S model and climb to $172,200 for the RS Performance.
