Audi Q8 e-tron model year 2025 revealed with minor changes

Ro, 30 July 2024

The Audi Q8 e-tron gets a minor update and a modest price hike in the US for the model year 2025. That includes the Audi SQ8 e-tron as well. Both variants, including their Sportback versions are now $400 more expensive and the destination fee has been upped by $100. Hardly a major increase on a $80,000 vehicle, but still going against recent trends of dropping EV prices.

Since the Q8 e-tron series are manufactured in Belgium, they are not eligible for the $7,500 federal tax in the US, although the models that cost less than $80,000 might benefit from some incentives if leased.

So for example, the starting price of the 2025 Audi Q8 e-tron with 20" wheels is $74,800 without the destination charge, while the Sportback version starts at $78,200. The SQ8 e-tron is now $90,000, while the Sportback is $93,000.

On the upside all Q8 e-trons now have a Homelink button integrated into the rearview mirror. The Park Assist Plus feature has been swapped out for Remote Park Assist Plus, allowing you to navigate the vehicle to park into tight spots remotely, as long as it's legal in your region. The Black Optic package for the standard and Sportback versions brings Anthracite Gray Audi rings with 21" wheels with a new design and two-tone finish.

A new Magnesium package can be purchased for the standard Q8 e-tron and offers 21-inch wheels with 5-arm aero structure and neodymium gold matte, black exterior trim and side view mirror housings, mask, window surrounds and puddle lights with "e-tron edition" logo. The Audi logo rings are painted in Anthracite Gray.

The rest of the hardware remains the same, meaning the drivetrain and battery packs are unchanged.
