The production version of the Mengshi M-Terrain EV has recently been photographed in China. This vehicle is notable for its impressive power and performance, as it has been described as making the GMC Hummer EV seem relatively tame in comparison.

This suggests that the Mengshi M-Terrain EV is a particularly powerful and capable vehicle, with features and capabilities that set it apart from other electric SUVs on the market.

The M-Terrain SUV, produced by Dongfeng for the Mengshi brand, is known for its unique and unconventional design, regardless of its electric drivetrain. It is based on a concept unveiled earlier in the year, but has undergone some modifications to make it more suitable for road use.

The M-Terrain's front bumper, which takes up most of the front of the vehicle, is designed to help the SUV climb steep inclines and overcome obstacles. The bumper is accompanied by a black grille with distinctive headlamps and sharp daytime running lights (DRLs). The overall appearance is completed with a skid plate and bronze-colored accents around the fog lights and grille.

The M-Terrain features large hinges on its doors, side steps, and silver and black wheels similar to those of the GMC Hummer EV, as well as sharp lines and creases similar to the current Hyundai Tucson.

The overall silhouette of the vehicle is reminiscent of the FJ Cruiser. These design elements contribute to the rugged and practical appearance of the vehicle. The back of the M-Terrain includes a cover for the spare wheel, interesting LED taillights, and a sleek bumper.

The specific details of the M-Terrain's engine have not yet been revealed, but it is expected to be available in both all-electric and range-extended configurations. The all-electric version is expected to have a 140 kWh battery pack and four electric motors that produce a combined output of 1,000 horsepower.

According to reports from China, this version of the vehicle may have a range of up to 500 kilometers (310 miles) on a single charge. The range-extended version is expected to come with a 65.88 kWh battery pack, a 1.5 liter 4-cylinder turbocharged gasoline engine, and a driving range of 800 kilometers (497 miles).
