Kia EV9 teaser campaign is now in full swing ahead of early 2023 launch
Kia's first electric SUV will be the EV9, and it's going to make its debut in the first quarter of next year - so before the end of March. It looks like the Korean company couldn't wait until 2023, however, to start its teaser campaign for the upcoming EV. And thus, Kia's arm in India took to Twitter to build up some excitement for the EV9 with a quick video depicting its very unique shape. Take a look for yourself:

The EV9 concept was unveiled in November 2021, and more details about the car were made available this March. It's going to be a three-row SUV, 4.93m long (that's 194"), with a wheelbase of 3.1m (122"). Unsurprisingly it's using the E-GMP platform like the EV6. In the beefiest version it's expected to have a 0 to 100 km/h (0 to 62 mph) time of 5 seconds, and go for as long as 540 km (336 miles) on one charge.
The EV9 will undoubtedly be one of the vehicles which Kia hopes will help it reach the goal of 1.2 million EV sales annually by 2030. Since August, the EV9 has been in the final stages of testing, so its official introduction could, for all we know, be imminent.
