Lynk & Co, the Geely and Volvo joint venture brand specializing in plug-in hybrids, is ready to enter the all-electric vehicle arena with its upcoming Zero electric sedan. Set to debut on June 12, the Zero EV has been generating much interest in the automotive industry, with recent teaser images showing its promising design.

The teaser images reveal that the Zero EV sports a sleek and modern design. It features distinctive LED taillights similar to those seen on the recently launched Lynk & Co 07 and 08 models. The car also boasts a ducktail spoiler, a minimalist rear bumper, and a trunk door with the brand's inscription.

The Zero EV's exterior showcases the brand's latest design language, with eye-catching LED running lights, retractable door handles, and blackened pillars. The aerodynamic wheel covers add to the car's aesthetic appeal and contribute to its overall efficiency.

While official specifications are yet to be released, the Zero EV is built on the SEA modular architecture, a platform known for its versatility and adaptability. This architecture is the backbone of various Volvo, Polestar, Lotus, and Zeekr-branded cars. It is designed for optimal performance and efficiency.

The Zero EV is expected to adopt an 800V high-voltage system, allowing fast charging times. It is rumored to feature Shenxing (LFP) and Qilin (ternary NMC) batteries from CATL. Additionally, the car will likely boast advanced features like four-wheel steering and dual-chamber air suspension.

The car is expected to be priced between RMB 200,000 and 300,000 (approximately $27,750 to $41,600), making it a potentially attractive option for EV buyers in China.

The Zero EV is not the only electric car in Lynk & Co's pipeline. The brand is also developing an unnamed electric hatchback, expected to hit the Chinese market later this year. The company has already announced plans to bring its EVs to Europe.
