Zeekr 7X's luxurious interior teased

Zeekr is preparing for the grand reveal of its 7X electric SUV at the Chengdu Auto Show on August 30, with an anticipated release scheduled for late September. Ahead of the full unveiling, the company released teaser images of the interior, highlighting five key design elements: the central console buttons, a yacht-inspired mid-platform design, the ambient lighting, speaker aesthetics, and perforated seats.

The teaser images promise a spacious interior dominated by a large floating central infotainment screen. Below this, piano-style mechanical buttons are likely to provide tactile control over media and climate settings, enhancing driver convenience. Dual wireless charging pads are also visible, with a sleek "yacht-like" design element flowing behind them.

While initial speculation suggested additional controls near the expected gear selector location, spy shots suggest this might be a cleverly disguised handle for a refrigerator compartment. A side-placed button hints at dual-side access to this feature. We also get a glimpse of a speaker emblazoned with "Zeekr Sound," sporting a unique sunflower pattern. The seats have this distinctive pattern within the perforations.

The Zeekr 7X embraces the brand's "hidden energy" design philosophy, echoing the styling of its siblings. Standout exterior features include the striking Zeekr Stargate all-in-one Smart Light Curtain at the front. The rear sports a full-width taillight and a cascading design incorporating the roof spoiler and a subtle tailgate lip.

With dimensions of 190 inches in length, 76 inches in width, and 65.6 inches in height, coupled with a 115.2 inches wheelbase, the 7X belongs to the mid-size SUV segment. Both single and dual-motor configurations will be available, with all models using a 310 kW electric motor on the rear axle. The all-wheel-drive variant adds a 165 kW motor to the front, enabling a 0-62 mph acceleration time of 3 seconds.

The single-motor version offers the choice of a 75 kWh or 100 kWh battery pack. The former is Zeekr's in-house developed "Golden Brick" battery, the second-generation lithium iron phosphate battery recently showcased in the 2025 Zeekr 007, touted as the world's fastest-charging production EV.

The 100 kWh pack, on the other hand, uses a CATL-sourced ternary lithium battery, providing a CLTC range of 438 miles in the single-motor configuration. The dual-motor version is exclusively paired with the 100 kWh battery. The 7X is expected to launch with prices ranging from RMB 240,000 to RMB 350,000 (approximately $33,000 to $48,200) in China.
