2026 Zeekr 7GT Privilege AWD real life range test with 20-inch wheels and summer tires
Zeekr is rapidly expanding across Europe, and its models are becoming an increasingly common sight on the road. With a growing and diverse lineup, the brand now offers something for any kind of buyer.
Today, we are testing the Zeekr 7GT Privilege AWD, the quickest and most luxurious version in the lineup. Neither advantage helps much in an efficiency test as today’s, though, as the additional performance and second motor should actually put it at a disadvantage compared with the Long Range RWD version.
The headline figures are a 100 kWh battery, of which 96.3 kWh is usable, and a claimed WLTP range of 347 miles. Our test will determine how close the 7GT AWD can get to that figure in real world conditions and how its efficiency compares with key rivals.

At our lowest test speed of 37 mph, the Chinese shooting brake delivered phenomenal efficiency, matching some of the smallest and lightest EVs we have tested. This speed mainly highlights how efficient the drivetrain itself can be, although the resulting range is somewhat theoretical since nobody in their right mind will drive for so long at such a leisurely pace.

At 56 mph, the added performance of the AWD setup starts to show its downside. Consumption rises noticeably as the two motors work harder, yet the large battery still allows the 7GT AWD to exceed its official WLTP range at this speed, which is reassuring for real world driving.
At our highest test speed of 81 mph, efficiency drops not as significantly as the low drag coefficient of 0.198 Cd comes into play. The Zeekr manages to outperform many rivals in outright highway range, which is ultimately what matters most on longer journeys.
Overall, the Zeekr 7GT AWD is a remarkably capable long distance machine that also happens to be able to embarrass plenty of sports cars from a standstill. It is not an efficiency champion, but strong range combined with extremely fast charging makes it a far more convincing road trip companion than the consumption figures alone might suggest.
The 7GT is spacious, luxurious and comfortable, and it can cover serious distances without much effort. It neither goes the furthest nor uses the least energy, but the combination of a large battery, rapid charging and strong overall efficiency compensates well for those shortcomings. As a complete package, it is difficult to fault.
