Polestar 5 is scheduled for production in 2025, the electric GT being the evolution of the Polestar Precept concept car. The company dedicated an entire YouTube documentary series to the development dubbed “From Concept to Car.”

SK On emerged from SK Innovation's 2021 restructuring, and is among the big players in the EV battery space. Their high-nickel battery cell modules with high energy density, are the cornerstone of this collaboration. These batteries promise to deliver not just long-range capabilities but also fast charging and efficient discharging, crucial for the performance expected from the Polestar 5.

On top of that, the audacious Polestar 0 project to create a climate-neutral production car by 2030, is a challenge that extends to the suppliers and the wider automotive industry.
