Volvo EX90 will start under $80,000 in the US

Volvo has detailed the pricing of its 2025 EX90, which will go on sale in the US next year. What the Swedish company describes as its safest car yet starts at $76,695 and promises an impressive range of up to 300 miles.

The EX90 Twin Motor Plus, is the base version, but it still comes with plenty of niceties. It features distinctive Thor's Hammer LED headlights, gloss black accents, and stylish 20-inch alloy wheels, making a striking first impression on the road. Rain-sensing wipers and a fixed panoramic glass roof enhance both convenience and aesthetics.

Inside, the EX90 offers a 9-inch digital instrument cluster and a massive 14.5-inch infotainment system with Google integration. This portrait-oriented display also supports wireless Apple CarPlay if that's your preferred way of connected travel.

Comfort is the name of the game in the EX90, with eight-way power front seats, heated front and rear seats, and a power-folding third row for added flexibility. There's a head-up display, a wireless smartphone charger, and a premium 14-speaker Bose audio system. Wood trims and Nordico upholstery add a touch of elegance, while a four-zone automatic climate control system ensures the perfect environment for all passengers. The standard seven-seat configuration can be upgraded to second-row captain's chairs for an additional $500.

For those seeking a more opulent experience, the $81,045 EX90 Twin Motor Ultra adds soft-close doors, laminated side glass, puddle lights, and larger 21-inch wheels. Air suspension and massaging front seats add to the comfort, while exclusive options like wool blend upholstery and an optional $3,200 Bowers & Wilkins premium audio system with 25 speakers cater to audiophiles.

Both EX90 trims share a robust 111 kWh battery that powers a dual-motor all-wheel-drive system, delivering an impressive 402 hp and 568 lb-ft of torque. This setup allows the EX90 to accelerate from 0-60 mph in just 5.7 seconds, reach a top speed of 112 mph, and cover up to 300 miles on a single charge. Additionally, the crossover boasts a substantial towing capacity of 4,850 lb, making it a versatile choice for various driving needs.

The EX90 Twin Motor Performance variant is next, starting at $81,695 and reaching $86,045 for the Ultra guise. Its upgraded dual-motor powertrain produces 496 hp and 671 lb-ft of torque, and accelerates from 0-60 mph in a brisk 4.7 seconds, while maintaining the impressive 300 mile range.
