Skoda shows us the Elroq in some very nice camo
Back in May, Skoda gave us the first glimpse at the upcoming Elroq, a model which is expected to become official this fall. Today, the brand is continuing the hype campaign with a showcase of the car from various angles. There is only one catch: it's covered in camo.
That is, decidedly, some much nicer camo than we normally get, and it's branded too as you can see. The Elroq is the first Skoda model to employ the brand's new "Modern Solid" design philosophy.
It should be roughly the size of the Karoq, but will debut a striking new face which will then become the brand's signature for all the new models going forward. The Tech-Deck grille first revealed in the 2022 Vision 7S concept will be flanked by split headlights with matrix LEDs.
The Skoda name is, as you can see, very prominently displayed on the hood's leading edge, something quite reminiscent of Range Rovers. The Elroq is using VW's MEB platform, and it's 177.2 inches long.
All in all it's looking like a very good addition to Skoda's portfolio, and we can't wait for the full reveal coming in the next few months. Stay tuned.
