Stellantis ends 2023 with a 14.3% BEV market share in Europe
Stellantis has made significant strides in the European automotive market in 2023, especially in the EV segment, the company revealed today.
In a year filled with industry disruptions and intensified competition, Stellantis managed to achieve an overall sales growth of 5.9% in Europe across all segments and energy types. This performance earned them the runner-up spot in European market sales, with an 18.4% market share.
Stellantis's dominance in the Commercial Vehicle market is indeed impressive, boasting a market share of over 30% and a remarkable sales growth of 15% compared to the previous year.
Stellantis also recorded a 14% increase in BEV sales compared to 2022, securing a 14.2% market share in Europe. While these numbers may seem encouraging, it's worth considering that the BEV market itself is growing rapidly, driven both by environmental concerns and government incentives. Stellantis's performance here should be viewed in the context of a booming industry.
Stellantis has introduced several popular EV models like the Fiat 500e, Opel/Vauxhall Corsa electric, Peugeot e-208, Jeep Avenger, and the BEV Pro One Commercial Vehicles line-up.

Interesting. I didn't realize Stellantis was producing that many EV's. In the US, they seem to be among the least interested manufactures to offer EV's.
