Deus Vayanne EV is going to be a 2,200 hp supercar
At this year's New York Auto Show, the so-called Deus Vayanne electric-powered supercar was introduced in the flesh. It's far from a finished product, of course, but it's nice to see it in real-life. The company's representatives also revealed some of the insane specs they are aiming for and perhaps the most notable metric is the 2,200 hp peak power output.
The car is based on an EV platform that's co-developed by Williams Advanced Engineering and Italdesign, with the latter being responsible for the body. We have them to thank for the unusual grille on the back that's in line with the front one, both symbolizing infinity.
As for the rest of the specs, Deus says the 2,200 hp car can go up to 400 km/h (248 mph) and can reach 100 km/h in just under 1.99 seconds. However, all those figures were taken from a simulation software so actual numbers may vary. Deus is dead set on bringing the most powerful EV on the planet, though.
There will only be 99 Vayannes made and the first one will ship in 2025 at an unknown price.
