Williams Advanced Engineering's EV-R is a composite skateboard-style platform that can serve many form factors. The main goal was to prove that an EV platform can be used without re-engineering existing models or developing a whole new architecture from the ground up.

EVR can support a range of electric hypercar configurations, from track-only vehicles where power-to-weight is maximized to road-going models, both open-roof Targa and fixed-roof GT architectures.

The EV-R can take up to 87kWh battery capable of 2,212 hp output and more than 450km range. Engineers also focused on battery longevity ensuring optimal performance throughout the whole lifecycle of the battery. Two electric motors and four-wheel drive are also on the menu.
