You can get a Tesla Cybertruck delivered in just 45 days with referral credits
Tesla's Cybertruck is finally starting to arrive in customers' possession, after four years of waiting since its initial announcement, but the process is still slow, and for many could prove frustrating.
So what if there was a way to skip the line? Well, it turns out there is. Tesla now lets you use referral credits to accelerate your Cybertruck delivery.
BREAKING: Tesla has introduced a new referral program award that allows you to accelerate your Cybertruck delivery for 30,000 credits.

You will have to use 30,000 of those credits, but once you do, the Cybertruck in either Foundation Series AWD or Cyberbeast versions will be at your doorstep within 45 days. To be clear: that's within 45 days from the redemption of the referral credits, not from the point when you ordered the Cybertruck.
There seem to only be a limited number of "accelerated deliveries" available, however, so if you want to go this route and have the required referral credits, now's the time to take action. If you miss this window, Tesla says you should check back later as more accelerated deliveries become available.
This is quite an interesting use of those credits, we're wondering if Tesla will generalize such ways to 'skip the line' for future models as they get released. For now, it's just the Cybertruck, but who knows - that affordable Model 2 will surely have a lot of demand that the initial production capacity won't be able to meet, so doing this again would make sense.
